Cinnamon Tourism

The Cinnamon Tourism site was designed around the company logo, and incorporates this colour scheme throughout the site. Built on php with a custom back-end allowing for simple, expandable site and page content, the Cinnamon Tourism site cleanly and elegantly advertises the services Cinnamon offer.

Fruit 4 London

Fruit 4 London is built on a custom php base with javascript json components to add richer user interaction. The look of the site and the logos and Icon sets were designed by SeaHermit's tame graphic designer Jack.

Brief

The King's College London Language Society is a student language society. Their website was a case study in building a web page that was both featureful and on a budget. It needed to be edited by the committee with a simple interface.

Solution

We used Joomla and the built-in JoomlaArt Purity as a foundation, customizing the template to their colour scheme and branding it with their society logo. This freed up our time to focus on constructing a custom module that matched registered users' language skills to students creating an automated self-arranging means to schedule lessons around times and places reducing the burden on society committee to hand schedule each meeting.

Brief

The King's College London Mountaineering Club website is a student climbing society. Their website needs to be managed by a number of people so that the burden of keeping the site up to date was shared.

Solution

We used Joomla and the built-in JoomlaArt Purity as a foundation, customizing the template to their colour scheme and branding it with their society logo. We sourced a few modules from the Joomla Extensions Directory allowing feeds from the facebook group, the phpBB forum and the club's newfeed to be kept together and coherent so that the right column of website is on the pulse of whats going on in the club.

Brief

OpenVivo is company founded and run by Emlyn, one of our developers. OpenVivo distributes research equipment to life science groups and firms and simply needed a neat, clean, searchable catalogue of the products it distributes and a mechanism to broadcast news and developments. OpenVivo needed a website up fast and wanted to spend the least amount of time on creating the website and fullest amount of time uploading and creating content to market its products.

Solution

We used Joomla and a premium theme compatible with Virtuemart bought from the excellent Rockettheme template group. We made modifications to the colour scheme, the branding and configured various modules to create the equipment category menus. The core components of Joomla provide the contact page and the news feed while RokTwittie provides a cohesive method to have tweets posted by our twitter account displayed prominantly on the home page. VirtueMart, while a full blown ecommerce suite, can be used as a catalogue simply by toggling the built-in function.

Zoe Sherwood - designer

This is the comercial presence of the up and coming fashion designer Zoe Sherwood. This is based upon a Wordpress instalation and has a customised set of templates used for the range of differing page content.
